Outdoor Education and Crafts Weekend
The Hands Are Leading The Way!
An embedded, transformative Craft weekend for MTEA students.
Over three days we were introduced to the value of “Learning by Doing” by Bernard, Sam and Jess, three highly skilled and experienced craftsmen. This is an annual event, and our students can’t wait until next year to try a different activity!
As you can see from the photos, amazing objects were created from iron, clay and leather- but all would agree that the thrill lay in the production, not the product.
